WHY PESAKH HAS NOT CHANGED
By Carroll L Page
1) Yahuah is unchangeable
and does not lie.
2) Confirmed covenant cannot
be annulled by a future covenant
3) Original
rites and ceremonies (Ex 12) were commanded forever
4) Second observance
(Num 9) Yahuah confirmed that the original rites and ceremonies were commanded forever.
FIRST TIME DONE IN EGYPT AND COMMANDED FOR HOME OBSERVANCE
Exodus 12:1-3 "And Yahuah spake unto Moses and Aaron
in the land of Egypt,
saying, ... Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, ... they shall take to them every man a lamb, for a house."
COMMANDED TO BE DONE BY THE MEN - HOUSEHOLDERS OF ISRAEL
Exodus 12:6 "And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth
day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening."
COMMANDED TO BE EATEN IN THE INDIVIDUAL HOMES
Exodus 12:7 "And they shall take of the blood, and
strike [it] on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it."
COMMANDED TO BE DONE FOREVER REGARDLESS OF WHERE YOU LIVE
Exodus 12:14 "And this day shall be unto you for
a memorial; and ye shall
keep it a feast to Yahuah throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever."
SECOND TIME WAS CELEBRATED IN WILDERNESS OF SINAI
Numbers 9:1-2 "And Yahuah spake unto Moses in the
wilderness of Sinai, saying. Let the children of Israel also keep the Passover."
COMMANDED THAT FUTURE KEEPING ARE TO BE AT THE SAME TIME AND WAY
Numbers 9:3 "In the fourteenth day of this month,
at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies
thereof, shall ye keep it."
YAHUAH SAID THAT TO WITHHOLD HIS PESAKH SEH (FLOCKLING) IS A SIN
Numbers 9:13 "But the man that [is] clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth
to keep the passover,
even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of Yahuah in his appointed
season, that man shall bear his sin."
YAHUAH SAYS THAT THE GER WHO LOVES HIM AND ISRAEL MAY DO PESAKH
Numbers 9:14 "And if a stranger shall sojourn among you,
and will keep the passover unto Yahuah; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so
shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land."
THIS CAN NEVER BE CHANGED FOR YAHUAH DOESN'T CHANGE
Malachi 3:6 "For I am Yahuah, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."
Ecclesiastes 3:14 "I know that, whatsoever G-d doeth,
it shall be for ever:
nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and G-d doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him."
Psalm 33:11 "The counsel of Yahuah standeth
for ever, the thoughts
of his heart to all generations."
Proverbs 19:21 "[There are] many devices in a man's heart;
nevertheless the counsel of Yahuah, that shall stand."
James 1:17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift
is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."
Ecclesiastes 3:14 "I know that, whatsoever
G-d doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing
can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and G-d doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him."
CONFIRMED COVENANT CANNOT BE ANNULLED BY A FUTURE COVENANT
For Yahuah to change his mind on the Pesakh would mean that he lies and he
changes, therefore no covenant or "Word" can set-aside thereby nullifying a previous confirmed covenant or promise. He promised,
that Pesakh celebration was for ever, didn't he? He promised - that Pesakh would be done throughout all the generations of
Israel! Right?
Numbers 23:19 "G-d is not a man, that he should
lie, Nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not
fulfill?"
Psalm 119:89-91 "For ever, O LORD, thy word is
settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness [is] unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all [are] thy servants."
Hebrews 6:17-18 17 "Wherein G-d, willing more abundantly
to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two
immutable things, in which it was impossible for G-d to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for
refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us."
